Guidelines For Grantseekers<\/h2>

The Foundation only considers grants to organizations that qualify as public charities and are tax-exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.<\/p>

Grant Requirements<\/h2>

Each year, when funds are distributed, organizations must provide written certification stating who they are, what they represent, and how the funds will be used.<\/p>

At least 90% of the funds must be used for charitable activities, and no more than 10% may be allocated for administrative expenses.<\/p>

Prohibited Activities<\/h2>

The CAM Family Foundation does not participate in political campaigns.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

The CAM Family Foundation provides support for projects within the following areas: education<\/strong>, health and social services<\/strong>, medical research and humanitarian efforts<\/strong><\/p>

Education<\/h2>

Funds may be used for scholarships or may be channeled through currently established scholarship funds and endowments at an institution of higher learning. Funds may be contributed to a university to establish, or to fund established programs, to develop academic skills.\u00a0<\/p>

Health and Social Services<\/h2>

Funds may be used to support programs designed to improve the physical, mental, and\/or social well-being of individuals, families, and communities. These programs may combine medical care (health) with personal assistance and practical support (social care) to promote independence, safety, and quality of life for vulnerable populations:<\/p>

  • Promoting health and disease prevention where health care resources and education are lacking.<\/li>

  • Supporting individuals living with homelessness and individuals who have been battered, rejected or left destitute.<\/p><\/li><\/ul>

    Medical Research<\/h2>

    Funds may be used to promote the wellbeing of the American people, and other people around the world, including research in diseases that affect a broad population or those that affect predominantly children.<\/p>

    Humanitarian Assistance<\/h2>

    Funds may be used to provide humanitarian assistance helping individuals and families become self-reliant by:<\/p>

    • Saving lives, alleviating suffering, and maintaining human dignity during and after man-made crises (conflicts) and natural disasters.<\/li><\/ul><\/div>
