Our Story
The CAM Family Foundation traces its roots to 2006, when it was established as the Charles A. Micale Foundation by our Founder Charles A Micale. Inspired by a deep commitment to giving back and empowering others, the foundation was created to honor the values of self-reliance, and community impact.
What began as a focused philanthropic effort has grown into the CAM Family Foundation a renewed organization that continues this important work with fresh energy, expanded vision and compassion. Over 20 years later, we remain dedicated to improving lives one grant at a time, supporting organizations that help individuals and communities build independence, resilience, and brighter futures.
Our Approach
As a family-driven foundation, we partner with organizations that share our Christian values of dignity, empowerment, and charity. We provide thoughtful grants and support that empower nonprofits to deliver transformative programs across our four pillars: Humanitarian Assistance, Medical Research, Health and Social Services, and Education. Our grantees include university entrepreneurship initiatives, medical ministries, international relief efforts, recovery programs, and rescue missions — all working to restore hope and promote lasting independence.
